Homedale woman arrested in kidnapping investigation

OWYHEE COUNTY, Idaho — A Homedale woman is in jail on a charge of aiding and abetting kidnapping, in connection with an incident reported Saturday morning in the area of Lootens Lane, southeast of Homedale.

The Owyhee County Sheriff's Office says the victim reported the incident, and had minor injuries. That victim has not been identified.

The sheriff's office says an investigation immediately began and a search warrant was executed at the property on Lootens Lane. 41-year-old Tressa Sipes of Homedale was arrested and charged with kidnapping, aid and abet.

No further details about what happened are available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
