BOISE - A Capital High School teacher is charged with a misdemeanor count of obscene behavior/conduct. Police arrested Kyle Cameron Dennis, 37 of Boise Monday morning and booked him on the charge. A spokesperson was tight-lipped about details surrounding the case, but said the Boise Police Department was carrying out a warrant. The Ada County Prosecutor said the case is currently sealed, but more information on what Dennis is charged with could be released later Tuesday. Boise School District spokesperson Dan Hollar says the school board placed Dennis on paid administrative leave Monday night. They will await the outcome of an investigation before taking further action. Dennis is a math teacher at the school, and Hollar says he is also the school's head basketball coach. He joined the school in 1996 and has coached the team for the past three seasons. Staff members at Capital were apprised of the situation during a morning staff meeting - and students will be informed of Dennis' absence.
