1 dead, 1 injured after motorcycle crash with deer south of Midvale

ISP said the motorcycle was being driven by a 48-year-old man with a 49-year-old woman passenger when they hit a deer. The woman died at the scene.

BOISE, Idaho — One is dead, and another is injured after a motorcycle crash with a deer south of Midvale Sunday night. 

Idaho State Police (ISP) said in a news release the crash happened around 9:20 p.m. on US-95 when the driver of an Indian Motorcycle Roadmaster traveling south crashed into a deer.

The driver, a 48-year-old man from Weiser, was taken to the hospital by helicopter for his injuries. Police said the passenger, a 49-year-old woman also from Weiser, died at the scene.

The identities of the two involved in the crash have yet to be released by officials. 

ISP is investigating the crash.
