18-year-old Caldwell man dies in head-on collision

The 18-year-old was traveling on US20-26 in Nampa when he crossed the center line and collided with another vehicle driven by a 28-year-old man, also from Caldwell.

CALDWELL, Idaho — An 18-year-old man from Caldwell died from his injuries after his vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle traveling along US20-26 in Nampa Tuesday morning.

The 18-year-old was driving a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan when he crossed the center line of the highway and crashed into a 2012 Dodge Ram driven by a 28-year-old man, also from Caldwell, according to Idaho State Police.

The crash happened at approximately 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 21 on US20-26, near Northside Boulevard in Canyon County.

ISP said the teen was pronounced dead at the scene, the other driver involved was brought to the hospital via ambulance. There is no additional information on his condition.
