18-year-old dead after single-vehicle crash in Canyon County

The man from Homedale died from his injuries at the scene of the crash.

CALDWELL, Idaho — Idaho State Police (ISP) are investigating a single-vehicle crash that left an 18-year-old from Homedale dead. 

On August 21, at roughly midnight, a BMW 650 driven by an 18-year-old man was traveling near Ustick Road and Angelina Court near Caldwell. 

The car was going westbound on Ustick Road when the driver went off the road and came to rest in a yard. He died from his injuries at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt. 

ISP was helped by Canyon County Paramedics, Caldwell Fire Department and Canyon County Sheriff's Office.
