CANYON COUNTY, Idaho — A two-vehicle crash in Nampa sent three people to the hospital and blocked traffic for nearly four hours. Idaho State Police (ISP) said the crash happened at the intersection of Powerline Road and Deer Flat Road on Thursday, March 14 around 12:40 p.m.; They are investigating the crash.
According to ISP, two women from Nampa, a 73-year-old driver and her 88-year-old passenger, were in a 2017 Toyota Camry going west on Deer Flat Road. The car pulled into the intersection and hit a 51-year-old man, also from Nampa, driving a 2022 GMC Sierra, pulling a 2021 Texas Pride Trailer headed west.
The driver of the Camry was taken to the hospital via air ambulance, the passenger by ground ambulance. The man also went to the hospital by personal vehicle. ISP said all three were wearing seatbelts.
