2 shot at Old Town Lodge in Twin Falls

Two were transported to a local hospital with gunshot wounds, police said.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho — Two were transported to the hospital for gunshot wounds Wednesday night in Twin Falls, police said in a Facebook post. 

Twin Falls Police Department (TFPD) responded to a 911 call around 9:30 p.m. at Old Town Lodge in Twin Falls. The report was that shots were fired and when police got there, they found two people, one man and one woman, with gunshot wounds. They were transported to a local hospital and are receiving treatment, TFPD said.

After investigating, police were able to arrest a possible suspect. 

22-year-old Talon Herrera was arrested by police for two counts of aggravated battery and one count of driving under the influence. 

The investigation is ongoing, said police. Questions should be directed to the Twin Falls County Prosecutor's Office.
