Annual Christmas light event returns to Treasure Valley

"It's the type of experience that's certain to fill you with holiday spirit" said staff

MERIDIAN, Idaho — The 5 p.m. sunsets and colder days mean the holiday season is approaching soon. An annual holiday event returns to the Treasure Valley to brighten the night with Christmas lights

The Scentsy campus will be hosting their annual community Christmas light kick-off event on Friday, Nov. 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on their campus located at 2901 E. Pine Ave. in Meridian. There will also be 11 food trucks to add to the event.

"It's the type of experience that's certain to fill you with holiday spirit," said Scentsy Chief of Staff Sam Johnson. "We always look forward to providing a fun and free event to our community— something families can enjoy as they celebrate the holidays. We love the opportunity to gather together and turn the lights on with this tradition."

In a news release from Scentsy, the campus has been wrapped in more than 900,00 Christmas lights. The largest attraction, the 250-foot-tunnel is back this year, along with a 75-foot tall light-up Christmas tree.

The lights will be up and running from Nov. 10, 2023, through Jan. 15, 2024.
