BOISE, Idaho — Sitting in a photo booth, waiting for the counter to tick down while holding a kiss is a sweet moment to share in a young relationship. The strip of photos capturing the moment will last for a lifetime if kept safe unless it becomes lost.
However, one photo strip of a young couple appeared in the most unlikely of places, and KTVB is asking the public for help to reunite the lost moment.
On Feb. 5, KTVB received a letter from 17-year-old Rizza, who wrote that she bought a young adult novel called "Just Listen" by Sarah Dessen, a book from Half Price Books, a bookstore in Meridian. Within the book, she found a bookmark, a photo strip of what appears to be a young couple.
On the back of the photo strip, there is a written date of June 20, 2012.
The couple should be in their late 20's. Rizza wonders how the couple is doing or if they are still together.
KTVB reached out to Half Price Books to help track down the couple. They said because the store is all over the country, it would be difficult to track down the origins of the book. Also, it is not known if the couple are residents of the Treasure Valley or even Idaho for that reason.
If you have any information about the identities of the couple reach out to us at our website here.
