3-acre brush, grass fire in Boise

No one was hurt but Boise Fire is reminding people fire danger is high.

BOISE, Idaho — Boise Fire crews had to battle a 3-acre grass and brush fire in southwest Boise by Lake Hazel and Orchard on June 14 around 4 p.m. No one was injured and crews were able to put it out quickly.

The Boise Fire Department is reminding people that fire danger is high and grass is dry.

"Two engines, two brush trucks, one Battalion Chief and Water Tender 91 from Gowen Field Fire Department responded to this incident," stated BFD on social media.
