CALDWELL -- A $3 million recreational vehicle park has opened in southwest Idaho.
The Canyon Springs RV Resort near Caldwell opened Friday just west of Interstate 84 with 136 sites with full hookups.
The park includes a 3,500-square-foot meeting lodge with a commercial kitchen for large events, and a 2.5-acre fishing pond stocked with largemouth bass.
The city of Caldwell extended a waterline 10,000 feet to the park.
City officials say the extension of city utilities could help Caldwell grow.
