BOISE, Idaho — Boise gas prices see another dip, following the 5 cent dip two weeks ago, according to GasBuddy. Boise drivers can appreciate a 7.6 cent per gallon drop in their fuel prices.
According to GasBuddy, with the price drop it places the average price for a gallon of gas in Boise is $3.78. Prices in Boise are roughly 26 cents lower than they were a month ago and stand around 50 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
The cheapest gas in Boise was reported to be $3.59 per gallon on Nov. 5, while the most expensive was $4.12 per gallon. As for the entire state of Idaho, the lowest price was $3.19 per gallon.
The report also shows the national average price of diesel has fallen around 6 cents in the last week, bringing it down to $4.38 per gallon.
According to AAA, the national average currently sits at $3.42 per gallon, which is eight cents less than a week ago, 32 cents less than a month ago, and 38 cents less than a year ago. Idaho ranks 8th in the country for most expensive fuel, behind California, Hawaii and Nevada, among others.
"Fuel demand dipped slightly this week, but the bigger source of savings was lower crude oil prices," says Matthew Conde, AAA Idaho public affairs director.
