EAGLE, Idaho — The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will close lanes on a section of Eagle Road to begin road repairs. Drivers should expect delays.
ACHD said on Thursday, Eagle Road will not be closed, but lane shifts will happen between Plaza and Highway 44 for milling and paving road work. The company said drivers should expect delays, but "we advise that you take an alternative route, such as Old State, to get around the delays."
ACHD will close Plaza Drive and Eagle Road to the McDonald's on Friday evening for milling and paving. However, ACHD said work will be paused on Saturday to allow the public who attends Eagle Fun Days to enjoy the event. Construction is expected to end in the third week of July.
"In other exciting news, late next week, Plaza Drive will be reopened and the light at the intersection of Plaza and Eagle will be turned back on. In addition, State HWY 55 and HWY 44 lane restrictions will be removed on July 19th," ACHD said.
