BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in an investigation and is requesting surveillance video from the night Deputy Tobin Bolter was shot and killed.
According to ACSO, Boise residents in the area of West Overland Road and Albright Lane are asked to review their surveillance video between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on April 20.
The sheriff's office said residents who find footage of a 1999 GMC Yukon with an American flag on the antenna or any other suspicious activity should contact them at ndaigle@adacounty.id.gov. Residents can also submit their footage through a submission portal.
ACSO states residents can remain anonymous.
The 27-year-old deputy died on April 21 after he was shot during a traffic stop in Boise. Several organizations, law enforcement agencies and community members have honored Bolter with local candlelight vigils, memorials and fundraisers since his passing.
