BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Sheriff's Office said at 6:46 p.m. on Tuesday a person of interest in a rape case had been identified after public tips.
Earlier in the day, the sheriff's office told the public they were searching for the man. Detectives believe he is connected to a rape case of lewd conduct with a minor child under sixteen case that happened earlier this year in South Boise.
The Ada County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) posted the following post on Facebook looking for help identifying the person of interest:
