BOISE, Idaho — Ada County named Trina Allen as the new executive director for Ada County Victim Services Center, previously known as the FACES of Hope Victim Center. The center helps people within the community that are experiencing violence.
Her appointment was announced Monday in a news release sent from Ada County. This is the latest development for the victim services center since the FACES foundation parted ways with the center, owned by Ada County, in December 2023.
"It's my privilege to join such an amazing group of people who share the same passion of helping others as I do," Allen said.
Allen is a licensed clinical social worker and has served as a clinician for St. Luke's Children at Risk Evaluation Services (CARES) for six years, which is located inside the victim services center.
Throughout Allen's career, she has worked as a therapist, juvenile probation officer, a family preservation specialist, and as an adjunct instructor for Northwest Nazarene University, according to the news release.
"Trina's experience and reputation in the community will ensure the mission of the victim center remains. She understands both the roles each partner plays in the success of the center, and the needs of those who seek services at the center," said Ada County Prosecutor Jan Bennetts. "I'm confident Trina will shine in this position."
