'No timeline' to extradite Lori Vallow back to Arizona as she pushes for appeal in Idaho conviction

Idaho’s governor signed extradition papers last month, but MCSO said there is no plan to pick her up until she is done with her appeals process in Idaho.

PHOENIX — The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office now says there is no timeline for extraditing Lori Vallow Daybell back to Arizona.

MCAO previously said they hoped she’d be back in Maricopa County by the end of the year to face multiple conspiracy to commit murder charges.

The former Valley mom was convicted earlier this year of killing her two kids, Tylee and JJ, and sentenced to life in prison in Idaho.  She was also convicted of conspiracy to commit murder in the death of her husband's first wife Tammy Daybell.

She’s filed to appeal those convictions in Idaho.

Idaho’s governor signed extradition papers last month, allowing Vallow Daybell to be taken back to Arizona, but the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said there is no plan to pick her up until she is done with her appeal.  The appeals process could take several months.

Lori Vallow Daybell faces two counts of conspiracy to commit murder in Maricopa County in the death of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, and the attempted shooting of her niece's ex-husband.

Vallow Daybell's husband, Chad Daybell, is scheduled to have his own trial next year for the murders of Tylee, JJ and Tammy.
