Boise Fire Department responds to fire on 9th Street

When fire crews arrived, they found an attic of a duplex on fire. The blaze was only on one side of the duplex.

BOISE, Idaho — On Monday, around 6 p.m., Boise Fire Department was called to a structure fire on North 9th Street in Boise. 

When fire crews arrived, they found an attic of a duplex on fire. The blaze was only on one side of the duplex, said Boise Fire Department via Facebook. 

Engine 1 started extinguishing the fire, quickly making work of it, which minimized the damage to the interior of the home. They also were able to stop the fire from going into the other side of the duplex. 

There were no reported injuries to fire crews or residents, said Boise Fire Department. Two people have been displaced due to the fire, and it is under investigation at this time. 

Engine 1, BC 1, Engine 5, Engine 2, Engine 8 and Ladder 5 all responded from Boise Fire Department.
