BOISE, Idaho — Every Tuesday in April, the Western Idaho Fair announces a performer that will be taking the stage later this summer.
In their fourth announcement, they announced The Beach Boys, set to play Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. at the Western Idaho Fair grandstands. The group is bringing their "Endless Summer Gold" tour to Idaho, continuously riding the wave of Americana music.
This 'Fun, Fun, Fun' group has been performing for over 50 years, creating unique sounds and setting records. Top songs of theirs include: 'Surfin' USA', 'Wouldn't Be Nice' and 'I Get Around'.
The Beach Boys has sold over 100 million records worldwide. They were also recipients of the 2001 Grammy Awards Lifetime Achievement Award. With more than five decades of touring under their belt, it's fair to say they "get around".
Tickets are on sale now. Doors for the event open at 6:30 p.m. and show starts at 8 p.m. on Aug. 22 at the grandstands.
