Boise man arrested for sexual exploitation of a child

BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho Attorney General's Office announced the arrest of a Boise man on charges of sexual exploitation of a child. 

Attorney General Raúl Labrador announced Wednesday that the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, assisted by Boise Police Department, arrested 49-year-old Thomas Harper on Tuesday, July 30. 

Harper was arrested on five counts of sexual exploitation of a child. 

"Each arrest made by our ICAC Unit helps to keep children safe from those who would sexually abuse and exploit them," said Labrador. 

The Attorney's General Office reminds the public that anyone with information regarding the exploitation of children is encouraged to contact local police, the Attorney General's ICAC unit at 208-947-8700, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800 843-5678.
