BOISE, Idaho — William Thompson, 38, of Boise died from traumatic blunt force injuries sustained in a rollover vehicle crash on Interstate 84 (I-84) Sunday, according to the Ada County Coroner's Office.
The crash happened on I-84 near milepost 69.5 in Boise on March 3, at approximately 11:30 a.m. A Twin Falls woman and a minor were injured in the crash and hospitalized, according to Idaho State Police (ISP). There is no additional information on their condition.
Thompson was driving a 2005 Ford Expedition going east on I-84 when it veered off the highway and rolled several times. ISP stated the man was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene after lifesaving measures were performed.
Traffic was blocked for roughly four hours while crews cleared the incident. ISP is investigating.
