BOISE, Idaho — Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing vulnerable teen.
The Boise Police Department said on Thursday that 16-year-old Hiliana was last seen by her family on Wednesday before midnight. She was reported missing Thursday morning, and police believe she ran away from home.
BPD officers believe she may have traveled through Rupert, Idaho, early Thursday morning but have been unable to locate her since.
Police describe Hiliana as five feet tall, has hazel eyes, her brown hair is shoulder-length, wears glasses and has several piercings.
"Officers and family are concerned for her safety and are asking for the public’s help in locating her," Boise Police said in a news release.
