Boise Rescue Mission to give free food to community during holiday banquets

The Boise Rescue Mission holds special Thanksgiving and Christmas banquets every year to help people celebrate the holidays with free food and chapel services.

BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Rescue Mission is holding its Thanksgiving and Christmas Banquets in Nampa and Boise this holiday season. These banquets give people in need the opportunity to enjoy a holiday meal accompanied by free chapel services. 

Boise Rescue Mission Ministries will be serving meals throughout the days listed below, including turkey and all of the other "fixings" you would expect. 

There will be food boxes to take home and chapel services. The dinner is open to the entire community and all are welcome.

– On Nov. 23, the Nampa Thanksgiving Banquet will be held at the College Church of the Nazarene in Nampa from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Registration for the banquet closes on Thursday, Nov. 21.

– On Nov. 26, the Boise Thanksgiving Banquet is being held at the Vineyard Church in Garden City from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration for the Boise banquet closes on Sunday, Nov. 24. 

– On Dec. 17, the Boise Rescue Mission is holding the Boise Christmas Banquet at the Vineyard Church in Garden City from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can register for this Christmas banquet up until Sunday, Dec. 15.

– On Dec. 21, the Boise Rescue Mission is holding the Nampa Christmas Banquet at the College Church of the Nazarene in Nampa from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can register for this dinner until Thursday, Dec. 19th.
