Boise River flows increasing

Flows on the Boise River are increasing this week.

BOISE -- A reminder to be careful near the Boise River as flow continues to increase.

The Bureau of Reclamation and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers says flows will increase from 1,800 cubic feet per second at the Glenwood Bridge today to about 4,600 CFS by Friday.

The flows are increasing due to above-average snowpack and winter precipitation in the watershed.

More flow increases are possible over the weekend depending on weather conditions.
