Boise teens arrested after police say they fired shots, had a stolen gun and were drunk

Boise Police Department said the three teens were issued citations for illegal alcohol consumption, booked into jail and charged with various felonies.

BOISE, Idaho — Three Boise teens have been arrested and charged with various felonies after firing shots in a neighborhood while drunk, having a stolen gun and trying to hide evidence. 

According to the Boise Police Department (BPD), officers went to the area of W. Timathy Lane and N. Shamrock Avenue on May 24 around midnight. They found two vehicles and one house that was hit by bullets. 

"Through an investigation involving officers from patrol and BPD's Violent Crime Unit, officers located a vehicle suspected of being involved in the incident in a parking lot at Fairview and Five Mile.  Officers detained three suspects in the vehicle and continued their investigation," stated a release. "

While police investigated, they also found a stolen gun, an extended pistol magazine and ammunition and bullet casings in a nearby trash. All three were also given field sobriety tests and issued citations for underage drinking.

Police arrested Irvin Rodriquez Soriano, 19, and charged him with felony grand theft, felony unlawful discharge at a house and felony enhancement- use of a firearm in commission of a felony. He was booked into the Ada County Jail.

Sammuel Silva, 18 was arrested and charged with felony accessory to a felony, felony destruction of evidence and a misdemeanor driving under the influence. He was also booked into the Ada County Jail.

A 16-year-old was also arrested and charged with felony accessory to a felony. He was booked into juvenile detention.
