BOISE -- A Boise resident made her debut Monday night on the online reality show "Extreme Huntress."

McFall told KTVB she had a great time on the show.

"It was so much fun. It was an experience I've never had before," she said. "I'm used to hunting in Idaho in the mountains, you know, deer and elk and birds. We went down to Texas and were riding Jeeps safari-style, you see a herd of zebra go by and it was almost surreal."

A native Idahoan, McFall said she first started bird hunting with her father when she was about five years old. When she was older, she took up deer hunting, describing the hunting trips as "do-it-yourself, go out and fill the freezer type adventures for the family."

McFall says she is passing her love for hunting on to her 6-year-old son.
