GOODING COUNTY, Idaho — A Boise woman died, and a Nampa woman is in the hospital after a crash on I-84 near Bliss. Idaho State Police (ISP), said the crash happened near milepost 142 east, on Sunday, Aug. 4 around 8:00 a.m.
Police said the driver, a woman from Nampa, 71, and her passenger, a woman from Boise 65, were headed east in a Chevrolet Silverado when the car veered off the road and tried to pull back when she hit a trailer of a semi-truck.
The woman from Boise died at the scene, the driver was taken to the hospital via ambulance and the driver of the semi, a 41-year-old man from Florida was not injured.
