BOISE, Idaho — An 18-year-old woman who died following a rollover crash on Interstate 84 on Jan. 28 in Ada County was identified Tuesday by the Ada County Coroner's Office.
Imani Jones of Boise died from multiple blunt force injuries on Jan. 30, two days after the single-vehicle crash occurred, according to a news release from the coroner. She was transported to the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise the evening of the crash.
Idaho State Police said Jones was driving west on I-84 in a Nissan Altima when the vehicle left the freeway and overturned into the median. She was wearing a seatbelt.
The crash occurred near milepost 60 around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28, ISP reported. One westbound lane of I-84 was blocked for roughly two hours.
An investigation into the incident is underway by Idaho State Police.
