Borah High School held an assembly today to honor all those who've served their country.
Borah High has lost more students in the military than any other school in the state of Idaho.
A memorial was erected in 2005 to remember those seven alumni who have paid the ultimate price.
Today, as we celebrate Veterans Day, students gathered in the courtyard as a wreath was placed on the memorial to remember all veterans.
“These are seven individuals that never had the opportunity to be a veteran,” said Mike Johnson, Borah High alumnus. “They made those choice and they served with honor and they died with honor. The years go on, but I think these individuals will also be remembered.”
Today's ceremony included the reading of all seven names listed on the plaque, the singing of the national anthem, and the playing of "Taps" -- as Borah High School remembered all those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
