MCCALL, Idaho — With what Brundage Mountain Resort is considering a "healthy" snow base, and more snow on the way for local mountains, Brundage announced on Thursday they are extending their season by one more weekend.
According to a news release from the McCall area ski resort, they will be keeping their lifts running seven days a week until April 14. After that, the season was scheduled to conclude, however, a bonus weekend was added to the mix after this week's forecasted snow.
On April 20 and 21, Brundage will open the lifts for you to get a few more turns in, and send out the season in style.
"Bonus Weekends are always something we aspire to offer for the benefit of our most passionate snow riders," said Brundage Mountain General Manager Ken Rider. "This year, all the pieces came together with a healthy snowpack, a good forecast, and enough room in our construction schedule to add an extra weekend."
Anyone with a season pass for this current 2023/24 season will be able to ride, as well as 2024/25 season pass holders. For those who need a single day ticket, they are available at the resort ticket window for $30.
Currently, snow depths on the mountain are 47 inches at the base and 86 inches at the summit. Over the entire season, Brundage saw a total of 245 inches of snowfall.
