BOISE, Idaho — Artificial intelligence technology is growing rapidly, and to accommodate change, Boise State University(BSU) will soon offer courses on how to use it ethically in the workplace.
BSU is launching the Artificial Intelligence for All certificate program in Spring 2025, which will offer three courses and count for seven credits. The new program will give students the skills they need to navigate evolving AI technologies, said Jen Schneider, associate dean of the College of Innovation and Design.
“We are really regional leaders when it comes to AI in education,” Schneider said.
Schneider said the program will focus on three key aspects: what AI is, what its ethics are, and what social implications it has. It is offered online and in person.
“It's an incredible technology, and it's evolving really fast,” Schneider said.
