BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Coroner's Office identified the man who died from his injuries from a crash in mid-August.
The coroner's office announced on Wednesday that 65-year-old Dale Johnston from Caldwell died at the hospital on Aug. 31 from his injuries caused by a two-vehicle crash on Aug. 21 on Riverside Road.
Idaho State Police said the crash happened around 1 p.m. after Johnston, driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup northbound on Riverside Road, drifted to the right shoulder, overcorrected, and crashed into the side of a Peterbilt semi-truck driving southbound.
Johnson was transported to the hospital by air ambulance to a local hospital.
Idaho State Police are still investigating the crash.
