TWIN FALLS COUNTY, Idaho — Several roads were closed Sunday due to flooding in Twin Falls County Sunday after a canal breached.

As of Monday, at roughly 11 a.m. the roads were reopened near Twin Falls County, following a canal breach. The Twin Falls Canal Company turned off the water to the canal, allowing crews to fix the damage. Twin Falls Highway District had reopened 3800 E, south of Hansen.

In an update at roughly 3 p.m. on Sunday, the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office (TFCSO) announced via Facebook that 3800 East is closed, as well as 3400 North to 3600 North. 3500 North has also been closed between 3500 East and 3700 East.

In an earlier update, TFCSO said that the canal company was using gravel to slow the flow of water and most of the water was filtering into a nearby beet field.
