BOISE, Idaho — In order to complete some irrigation pipe work, Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) will be closing State Highway 16 on Saturday night in the Emmett area.
ITD will close SH-16 between Johns Avenue and Cherry Lane in Emmett. ITD said the full closure must take place, in order to replace an irrigation pipe beneath the highway.
The closure starts on Saturday, April 13, at 7 p.m. and reopen the following day.
Traffic control will be in place, said ITD. There will be a detour routing traffic onto Johns Avenue and Cherry Lane.
