MERIDIAN - The community held a retirement party for Linda Clark Saturday, months after she announced her resignation as Superintendent of the West Ada School District.
Dozens of people came out for what they called a 'home run celebration'.
Clark worked in the district for almost four decades as a teacher, principal, and administrator. She says she is most proud of the partnerships built.
"The great team we put together, the staff, all of our partnerships with the community that resulted in terrific opportunities for the kids, that's really what it's all about," said Clark.
Although Clark says her resignation was forced, she says she is looking forward to retirement.
