BOISE -- A plank off competition was held at Kaia Fit Boise. It was a tough competition for a good cause.

A plank is where you hold up your body weight with your toes and elbows. So, Saturday's plank-off was a competition to see who could hold the position the longest.

Men, women, and kids all competed, with proceeds going to Girls on the Run.

Christina Ward with Kaia Fit Boise says, "The organization helps girls build their confidence by training to run a 5K. They get mentors, really positive mentors. And, it's an incredible organization, and we're excited to support them today."

The world record for holding a plank was set at the event. Eva Bulzomi beat her own record with a plank-time of 44 minutes and 5 seconds.

Bulzomi also did it with 40 pounds on her back. She says she was happy with the record, but may try it again with 80 pounds on her back.
