Unclaimed Raffle ticket worth $100,000 set to expire soon

Idaho Lottery officials say the winning ticket was purchased in Boise.

BOISE – Idaho Lottery officials say time is running out for the holder of an unclaimed $100,000 prize.

Someone is holding a winning ticket for the Fourth of July Raffle game held last summer. That ticket will expire on March 13 at 5:30 p.m. MT.

The Raffle ticket has number 035520 and was purchased in Boise. The winning numbers were originally announced on Sept. 14, 2017.

“The time is now for the holder of the ticket to come forward and claim their $100,000 prize,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “If no one presents the ticket for validation by the close of business next Tuesday, March 13, the ticket will expire and we will be unable to pay the claim.”

So far, the Idaho Lottery has not received any inquiries about the $100,000 winning ticket.

This is not the first time a big prize has gone unclaimed. In 2010 and 2012, Idaho had $1 million winning Powerball tickets go unclaimed.

“We remind our players to always check their tickets routinely for winners. This was a specialty game that was only offered in Idaho,” added Anderson. “Players today have an abundance of resources available to check their tickets for winners including our website, every retail location in the State, and our free, downloadable Check-a-Ticket app.”

If the winner fails to come forward, the $100,000 prize goes into the unclaimed prize fund.
