BOISE -- A Utah man visiting family in Idaho has won a $275,000 jackpot on the Wild Card game.

Idaho Lottery officials say Armando Almodovar of Ogden, Utah doesn't play very often, just when he comes to Idaho.

He purchased the winning ticket for last Wednesday's Wild Card draw at the Oasis Stop 'N Go in Twin Falls.

"My daughter is a flight attendant, so that enables me to fly for free," said Almodovar. "I'm able to travel a lot since I'm retired. I was actually planning on flying to Boise for a weekend trip, but since that flight was already full, I decided instead to fly to Twin Falls."

Wild Card is a multi-state jackpot game played in Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. This marks the 20th jackpot in Idaho since the game began.

Almodover split his winnings with his son Armando Jr. and his daughter Angelita. He also plans to give some of the money to his church and local charities.

The jackpot for tonight's Wild Card draw is an estimated $205,000.
