Boise man dies 2 weeks after 2-vehicle crash

The Ada County coroner said Alva Haynes, 79, died of complications from the blunt force injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle collision on June 9.

BOISE, Idaho — Alva Haynes, 79, of Boise, succumbed to his injuries Saturday afternoon after being involved in a two-vehicle crash in Boise nearly two weeks prior.

On June 9, Haynes was driving his vehicle when it collided with another car near the 6000 block on West Emerald Street, according to the Ada County Coroner's Office. Haynes was the only person in his vehicle at the time of the crash.

Investigators released no additional information regarding the crash. Boise Police Department is investigating the incident.
