Crash near Nampa sends 2 women, one minor to hospital

Idaho State Police said the crash happened south of Nampa on State Highway 45 in Canyon County.

CANYON COUNTY, Idaho — Two women and one minor are in the hospital after a car crash on State Highway 45 in Canyon County. According to Idaho State Police (ISP) the crash happened on Sept. 7 around 9:20 a.m., south of Nampa, near mile marker 23 in Canyon County.

ISP said a 20-year-old woman from Kuna driving a white Honda Civic headed south. She crossed the centerline, overcorrected and hit a blue Honda Pilot headed north, driven by a 28-year-old woman from Nampa who had a minor in the passenger seat.  

The Kuna woman was taken to the hospital with critical injuries and was not wearing her seatbelt. The Nampa woman and her passenger were also taken to the hospital, but both were wearing their seatbelts. 

ISP is investigating.
