Fire North of Emmett burns roughly 200 acres

The Bureau of Land Management said they were assisting Gem County with the fire.

EMMETT, Idaho — The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), said they are assisting the Gem County Fire Department with a fire that's located about four miles north of Emmett on Van Deusen Road. According to WildCAD, the fire was an estimated 200 acres. 

The fire was burning on private land, and it was first reported on Friday, June 21, at 1:47 p.m.

According to BLM, they provided two fire engines, a dozer and other ground resources.
