SPOKANE, Wash. — A former Idaho State Trooper who is currently on trial for the alleged murder of his wife was arrested Friday night at the Spokane International Airport.
According to the Spokane County Jail Roster, Daniel Charles Howard was arrested by Spokane International Airport police at 10:40 p.m. on Friday. Howard was booked into the Spokane County Jail as a fugitive.
Howard's trial started on March 4 and is expected to wrap up at the beginning of next week. He's been out of police custody since December 20, 2023 on a property bond.
