Deli Days rebranded to Idaho's Jewish Festival

The festival hosted by Congregation Ahavath Beth Israel is on Sunday, Sept. 1.
Deli Days features food brought in from the Bronx, New York, music and synagogue tours all put on by members of Boise's Jewish community.

BOISE, Idaho — The event, formerly known as Deli Days, has been rebranded to Idaho's Jewish Festival. In a news release, the Congregation Ahavath Beth Israel (CABI) stated the event has been "reimagined, rebranded and reborn" into the new concept.

"Idaho's Jewish Festival's vision is to promote awareness, appreciation, and celebration of Jewish culture in Idaho," the release stated. "The festival will include seminars, tours of the historic synagogue, Jewish folk dancing, and other elements showcasing Jewish art and literature."

Deli Days last occurred in 2017 but the rebranded festival will have much of the same feel. Deli sandwiches will be available, as well as beer, wine and desserts. The event is at the Congregation Ahavath Beth Israel campus located at 11 N. Latah on Sunday, Sept 1, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Festival entertainment consists of internationally recognized artist Noam Vazana, The Moody Jews of Boise and other local acts. The Idaho Museum of International Diaspora (IMID) will also be explaining the diaspora of the Jewish people across the world.
