BOISE, Idaho — A 22-minute film about Paulette Jordan's 2018 run for the Idaho governor's seat will premier at the Egyptian Theatre on Wednesday, July 17.

The film, titled "Paulette," was directed by Idaho native Heather Rae, who gained international acclaim in 2008 with her Oscar-nominated film, "Frozen River."

Before the screening, Jordan will take part in a question and answer session.

The former Idaho state representative and Democratic nominee for governor eventually lost to former Lt. Gov. Brad Little in the 2018 general election. She was the first woman to earn her party's nomination in Idaho.

“This was a race for all Idahoans, and this film is for all Idahoans as well,” Jordan said in a statement. “I’m excited for this film to finally be seen by those who were such a huge part of this race and what it meant.”

A member of the Coeur d'Alene Tribe, Jordan is currently leading an environmental campaign to save Chinook salmon of the Northwest from extinction, according to the Idaho Democratic Party.

The Boise premier of "Paulette" will be held on July 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Egyptian Theatre in Downtown Boise.
