BOISE, Idaho — Two homes in west Boise caught fire and have severe damage causing the families to be displaced. No one was hurt, however, a cat died in the fire.
"We send our heartfelt condolences to the families for the loss of their pet and damage to their homes," Boise Fire stated.
According to the Boise Fire Department (BFD) the fire happened on W Foxfire in the early morning of Saturday, Sept. 14. The cause of the fire is under investigation and BFD said TIPS is helping the families.
"We send our gratitude and thanks to the neighbor who saw the fire and noticed the occupants in one of the homes had not evacuated, and therefore notified them of the fire allowing them enough time to safely exit the home," BFD stated.
