TWIN FALLS, Idaho — A truck driver was seriously injured Wednesday when his brakes went out on a gravel road near Twin Falls Wednesday evening.
The crash happened at about 5 p.m. along the Snake River.
According to Idaho State Police, the man lost control when his water truck's brakes malfunctioned.
The truck flipped and skidded along the road, coming to a stop upside down with portions of the metal cab torn away.
The driver suffered broken bones in the rollover, and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Idaho State Police say the wreck should serve as a reminder of the importance of brake inspections.
