BOISE - An Eagle woman was injured Wednesday afternoon when her car went off Bogus Basin Road and plummeted 150 feet down an embankment.
The crash happened at about 4:40 p.m. about eight miles south of Bogus Basin.
According to the Idaho State Police, Paula Marcolina, 54, was driving south on the winding two-lane road when she veered left of center and went off the road.
The car came to a rest on its side about 150 feet down the embankment, police said.
Marcolina was taken by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. At this point, there is no word on her condition.
One lane was blocked by emergency vehicles for a little more than an hour, while crews worked to clear the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
