EAGLE, Idaho — Snowmaking at Eagle Island State Park is paying off.
Gateway Parks announced on Thanksgiving that tubing operations will open for the season on Saturday.
The tubing area already has a three-foot snow base, and temperatures for the rest of the week will remain low enough that officials aren't worried about it melting away.
The tubing hill will open at noon Saturday, with discounted $10 tickets available. For more information, click here.
