BOISE, Idaho — Boise Fire Department (BPD) said they responded to several trees on fire along the Boise Greenbelt. The fires happened west of 9th Street on June 22 around 2 a.m.
"Engine 5 arrived first to find numerous trees burning along a few hundred feet of the riverbank. Firefights coordinated fire attack, and worked to extinguish the fire. The fire was controlled at 4 am," the department posted on social media.
BPD said the cause of the fires is undetermined and Boise City Forestry cleared the area.
