TWIN FALLS, Idaho — A 35-year-old man from Rupert died in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday on SH-50 at mile marker 3.8, south of the Hansen Bridge in Twin Falls.
At approximately 6 p.m., the Rupert man was driving a Ford Taurus on SH50 when he made a U-turn and struck a Ford F150 -- occupied by two 37-year-old men from Twin Falls, according to Idaho State Police (ISP).
The 35-year-old from Rupert was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said he and the driver of the F150 were both wearing a seatbelt. The passenger of the F150 was not. There is no update on the two survivors' condition at this time.
SH50 was blocked for six hours to allow personnel and law enforcement to investigate and clear the scene.
